Sheri's Apple Cran-Raisin Salad

  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon basalmic vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon hot water
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 medium (2 1/2 cups) diced Gala apples
  • 1 medium (1 1/2 cups) diced Granny Smith apple

Wisk together the vinegars, cinamon, lemon juice, hot water, and brown sugar.

In a separate container, mix the raisins, cranberries, pecans, and apples together.

Combine both mixtures and serve.

This is GREAT for breakfast or Mid morning snack. I used chopped walnuts because I didn't have pecans on hand. Yummy!!

This is the BEST salad I have ever had! Very unusual and so healthy! It has great flavors that work together so well. I can't wait to share it with my friends.
